About Eric Skorupski

The “ES” in DESIGN

Eric Skorupski is a Regional Graphic Design Manager at STV Incorporated, with over 25 years of experience in the design industry. Born in Johnson City, NY, raised in both Binghamton, NY and Erie, PA, Skorupski is a graduate of PennWest Edinboro with a BFA in Applied Media Arts. With involvement in branding, digital, interactive, print, presentation management, and installation-scale efforts, Eric has brought a multidisciplinary approach to communication needs for clients such as Bernhardt Furniture, Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation, Lowes Home Improvement, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Walmart, and Westglow Resort & Spa.

From 2017 through 2026, Eric Skorupski earned recognition from several international and national design competitions for his logo, poster, and graphic design work.

In 2026, his DESIGN MATTERS value mark received a Bronze Award in the Logos category from the Indigo Design Awards and an Honorable Mention in the Logo Design category from the Hermes Creative Awards. The project also earned multiple distinctions in 2025, including an Honorable Mention from the International Design Awards in the Logos, Trademarks and Symbols Design category, an Honorable Mention from MarCom in the Creativity/Design/Logo category, and a Certificate of Excellence in the Logos + Symbols category from GDUSA’s American Graphic Design Awards.

His ‘MERICA series poster work was widely recognized between 2022 and 2023. In 2023, Skorupski received Silver and Bronze Awards in the Poster and Brochure Design category from the Indigo Design Awards, along with a Gold Award and an Honorable Mention in the Print Media/Design/Poster category from the Hermes Creative Awards. In 2022, he earned a Gold Award and an Honorable Mention in the Print Media/Print/Poster category from MarCom, a Certificate of Excellence in the Poster category from GDUSA’s American Graphic Design Awards, and two Honorable Mentions in the Poster category from the IDA Design Awards. That same year, his work was featured in the poster gallery for AIGA’s Design for Democracy initiative in support of the Get Out The Vote campaign, representing AIGA Charlotte.

Additional recognition for Skorupski’s personal DESIGN wordmark includes a Gold Award in the Print Media/Design/Logo category from the Hermes Creative Awards in 2019, a Gold Award in the Print Media/Print Creativity/Logo category from MarCom in 2018, and a Certificate of Excellence in the Logos + Symbols + Trademarks category from GDUSA’s American Graphic Design Awards. In 2017, the project also received an Honorable Mention from the International Design Awards in the Graphic Design category.

Earlier in his career, while Senior Designer at Paragon Design Group in 2012, Eric and the Paragon team were awarded a Gold ADDY Award (AAF Charlotte) and a Gold ADDY Award (AAF District) for its contributions towards a trade show exhibit, a PICA Award (courtesy of Deluxe Printing Group), and a Gold MarCom Award. He has also participated (with Paragon Design in association with Riggs Partners) in national CreateAthon events (2002-2011) by donating time and design efforts to area nonprofits.

Throughout his career, Skorupski has received personal and professional recognition from organizations including AAF (American Advertising Federation), BMA Carolinas, Communicator, GDUSA, Hermes Creative, IDA (International Design Awards), Indigo, MarCom, PICA, and PRINT.

Eric currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, Hollie and two dogs, Riggs and Remy.
